I have not seen this moth before. This moth is the same color as the poison moth around the apartment buildings we used to live. I wonder if this moth is poisonous as an adult.

 
Wow. That is one freaky/furry moth. Yesterday I had my female Io moth eclose. She is really furry but got mad and started flapping her wings and glided around the room.

 
u sure it's female? females typically don't fly until after mating ;)
Yes. She is a nice brown color instead of yellow like males. ;)

I tried removing her from the hatching cage and she got freaked out and started vibrating (Warming up before flight) then she took off in my room...

 
I have to stop looking through these posts. That is the most incredible moth, and even caterpillar.

I'm so DOOMED.
