Just caught ≈500 spiderlings. Good mantis food?

I just caught a spider and her babies. I want to feed the spider to my adult popa spurca, and the babies to my ghosts.

How can I raise the spiderlings to make them a bit bigger, and how can I get them out of the container? Is there a way to temporarily stun them?

I smash the mouth of the spider first. My popa loved it.
