I wasn't planning to go but on a whim I went today. There was some cool stuff.

Ha! The first pic she looks like "Okay I'll do it, whatever just make it quick!"

Awesome leaf collection.

$100 dollar pinned beetle, anyone?

There was actually more live and dead mantids than I expected.

There were a good amount of exotic mantids being sold (somehow?) But the only ooths were native species. But they were in abundance!

Fun pictures! I really like the tons of ooths for sale, just sitting out in the open... wonder how many are fertile.

I wish we had something like this where I live! The wasp nest cross section looks pretty cool and that polar bear is impressive.

those r vinegaroons

that is so cool though :)
No they're amblypygids, whipscorpions, cave spiders. Those are Damon diadema, tanzanian giant tailless whip scorpions ;)

(Though technically they're not spiders or scorpions. Nearly all common names cannot apply to amblypygids)

Very cool! If I went, I'd probably be scooping up ooths by the handful and letting them run through my fingers. Ooths and ooths and ooths!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :taz:

I went as well, took girlfriend and son. Son won a tarantula for a buck, just seconds after his mom decided she wanted one after holding one for the first time. 1st pic the family with mantis character 2nd son holding emperor scorpion under black light.
