So my L1 mantis that has hatched (only 1 has hatched so I think it's a scout) and it's been three days and it has not eaten. I have tried hand feeding and I can see it's mouth moving and eating a little but doesn't seem to want to eat

hy logan   Do you know when the ooth was laid ? Or has your ooth been diapaused ?  I have hatched 2 ooth  (not diapaused) this season with extreemly high mortality . The remaining nymphs respond quite differently than others that I have hatched ....S

The undiapaused ooth have such a low survival rate , I have one (1) L3 Religiosa nymph that is the lone survivor of an ooth...and only 3 , L4's from an undiapaused Tenodera ooth. Therefore I diapause all of my naturalized mantid ootheca ....  S
