L1, L2 ect ?

Hi ya all. im quite new to the mantis seane and i was wondering if any one could explain the sizes of mantis to me. by this i mean L1,L2 ect

Any thing willl help.

sweet cheers for the info. but when would you class them as an sub adult then adult? is it after so many sheads or there age.

Sub-adult is when they have their small version of their wings, I think its around L7. Adult is when they fully grow out their wings. Some species hit adult as L7 and some take up until L8

Well its hard to explain, its like when the wing buds are like fat and long. I already said that sub-adults are usually between L6-L7.

If you are unexperienced then it might be harder for you to tell. I can tell whether if its a sub or not real easily.
