L6 male ghost mantis

My last nymph of the season. He's about 1.5 inches long. I had him and two females in the same enclosure, and one female ate the other female, then he munched on the last female's head as she was molting.

Sorry to hear you lost two to cannibalism, seems to be a good example against communal kept ones. Seems your male is doing good. Plan on getting a female to breed with him?

Really sorry to hear about your loss Dineh.

Hmm. Never had problems with cannibalism in this species so far, though it is always possible.

I packed flies in all the time and had them separated by gender until they were adults.
