The counts about 40 now and climbing, Theopompa opthalmica, possibly a first for the hobby over here I have a very big love for this species and hope to see many more like this.

Nearing the week mark, 1/4'' L1 very fast very aggressive they started cannibalizing on the second day even with plenty food and microfauna.

Yes, its a huge loss and has me stressed but I couldnt have known the aggression in this species as far as I know there is no captive data on them to go by. I figured them for communal, and even with a natural media and microfauna a plenty as well as wingless ff they took each other out rather fast. I plan to keep them all minus a small group I agreed to trade. I want to document them hatch till death.

Nice! They look big enough for house flies to me, especially if they cannibalize at L1, but I tend to do things different than most.

I tried hydei, wingless hf, firebrats, but they seem to be sticking to springs, wingless ff for now. I have worked with similar species this is not my first rodeo. They are 1/4'' max length faster than any species this size I have had this the peasure of keeping. I have a couple more Theopompa oothecae so Im hoping to get this down before nother hatches.
