Looking for a L.Minor breeder or somebody who has them and has bred them successfully. I just want to ask a few questions about husbandry etc. Thanks :)

Large nymphs are easy to keep and grow up but the hatchlings are difficult to keep alive. I wish I knew the trick.

They're pretty tiny right? can you feed them fruit flies? or do they need something smaller?

I also had springtails available and they seemed generally uninterested in most foods. It may have been more as substrate/habitat issue but I tried a number of different things with minimal luck.

Pooka, think! We live in these guy's natural habitat! We know exactly what they'll eat! Whenever you see all those insignificant little gnats flying around, you don't think much of it, but to them, it is probably a delicious treat.

Once they get a little size the nymphs eat anything but the hatchlings don't seem interested in fungus gnats either. They can't climb smooth surfaces unlike most other mantids so they just run around the bottom of the habitat.

Do they show interest in drinking water?

Maybe they need larger enclosures? even though It may be harder to find food, perhaps hight isn't what they need, maybe its length?

There isn't really any breeders.. We could find them in the wild but good luck! I found one in osoyoose and I didn't manage to catch it because it was really fast and was hard to see because of it's camo to it's habitat..

Yea, apparently they're in kamloops too, but i\d have to check the reliability of those claims.I think my best bet is to go out next year a find some ooths for myself and using the information I have and trial and error, so try and raise some successfully, and maybe if I get a good bunch going, release them into my area to try and get their population back up.
