Recently it has been hot as hades where i live (in the foothills of southern california) and many flies have hatched out in the garden. This morning there were tons of flies inside my house when i woke up - very annoying. My 7 year old Ansel earned a new honorific title this morning in my household: "Lord of the Flies." He is an undisputed master of fly catching using a butterfly net and even caught up to 3 and 4 flies at once! Later we found out my 5 year old was opening doors for flies to come in the house for the mantids to eat!
