Male won't eat after mating

I mated my mantis 3 days ago. The Male still hasn't eaten anything. Is this normal?

They are normally pretty hungry after mating. Males don't eat much though in general when adult.

LOL I figured he'd be hungry,just like a man. Finally got him to eat 1 moth,not interested in crickets though. I want to mate him with another female but I want him to get his strength(and sperm count) back up.

I'd give him a couple days or so. If he ate that is a good sign. But like I said, males don't really eat much once they get to that part of their adult lives where mating is of primary concern.
