Pretty much describes it all. I'm trying to get my T.Sinensis to mate. The males always hop on the female's back, but they never couple up. You can see the male's organ opening and trying to do something, but they never make contact.

I've tried letting them sit there, blowing on them (like Rick's guide says) and everything else. Recently one of my two males was severely injured (he'll probably die now) from the female trying to eat him. I only have one left.

Any advice?

Make certain the female(s) are well fed, if not eating. Perhaps be on standby with food to give the female as soon as he mounts...giving him more time to couple.

If the female strikes immediately, she is just not ready and try again later.

I don't think that is the problem here. Give them more time. I have had males sit there for awhile before actually starting to mate. Or it could be your male is very young and not ready.

Rick is correct, he sits there and doesn't hook up. I'll give it another week or two. These have been adults for several weeks already.

Fortunately, my male who I thought was badly hurt is now active and running around. Took him out and he flew across the room. I think he'll be ready to try again soon.

I always let them try to mate out of the enclosure so the male can escape. The female was just too fast this time.

That is also what I do. You might want to put them in seperate rooms for a few days and try again.

How fortuitous. Now the female that was mated last night is laying an ooth tonight. So, it should be fertile. The male was able to escape as well so he's still viable.
