righ...

i dont know what you trying to say now

once I took my female Plistopilota guinessis with me to Greece, but I had only her and her mate , and I wouldn't take any if I had more.

Since I normally only have 1-2 at a time, I often take them on vacation with me. They are so easy to bring along and I have a lot of fun with them. For trips I don't/can't bring them along what I would do would depend on the length. If I would only be gone a few days I would just feed/water them well the night before and leave them home. If I was going to be gone for more than that, I would leave them with one of my animal friendly relatives (so far I've never had to do that though). I was always curious to know what other members who have huge swarms of them do if they have to be gone for over a week or so, especially if you don't know someone who is insect friendly/knowledgeable. <___<

idolo, they mean to leave the mantids in individual cups and place a few fly casters in the cups, some that will hatch soon and some to hatch a little later. So the mantid can feed itself while you're gone. ;) but if you just left mantids running around in a large area with casters, they would have too hard of a time finding/getting the flies.

I've heard too many horror stories of people leaving their animals with relatives and inlaws and friends, and coming back to discover the animals died in their care. The casters sounds like the best idea. Water bowl or mist intensely before leaving.
