Mantis calling

Hi all, I just had a successful pairing of cryptic mantids. Has any one noticed when your females start calling, ie. full moon, new moon? I was going over my notes and noticed that all my pairings took place on the waning moon(1st or 2nd night after full moon) or new moon(night of or night after). Has any one else noticed a correlation of calling during certain times of lunar phase?

I have not but I'm completely new to breeding. Marilyn was calling a LOT a couple nights ago but grabbed john so I'm gonna try tomorrpw

Fascinating question! I will watch my girls closely for an answer, but right now, I dont think they have.
