Mantis sculpture

Here's some pics of a wire sculpture I made. I haven't worked with wire in a while, but this subject was just what was needed to get me doing these again. My other sculptures have the insulation still on, and painted. But for this, I decided to expose the shiny copper wire. I soldered some of the important joints and sprayed on several coats of lacquer.

they almost look like bugs.

I have actually seen somebody make a wire frame robot mantis already and I have photographic proof, if I can find it.
