I was wondering the same thing. The website  no longer exists at the moment. Does anyone on here actually talk to Carey? I have had communications with her on and off, but she is not consistently responsive to me.

@Sticky @Sarah K The last I saw on her website she had abandoned all mantid species besides Ghosts and the Egyptian (Miomantis sp.), and was wanting to arrange for breeders to be able to sell directly from her store - as she listed that she changed her goals.

Since the announcement it seemed more of the site was being removed, as it was no longer part of her new design/idea. I figured she would in the end redesign the store, but in truth it feels like she might just as easily be giving up on the prospect all together. Only time will tell if it returns or not.

I managed to pull up the cached version of her website that says this...

BIG CHANGES ARE COMING SOON TO MANTIS PETS...PLEASE STAY TUNED FOR DETAILS!

Update:  There are NO mantis nymphs available at this time.  Shortly, I may be offering some larger nymphs and/or fresh adults of a couple of species.  My collection has drastically downsized over the past several months, and I am not in a position to take on more species at this time.  I will likely stick to just two species, Egyptians and Ghosts henceforth, so that I can concentrate on new career goals.  As always, customer service is my No. 1 goal...but please do not ask about when a new species will be available...it won't!

Here soon, I will be working on the website and gearing it towards a new direction (possibly including a co-op of breeders so that you can still find new nymphs for your collections!), so stay tuned for updates either by bookmarking the site, or liking us on FaceBook!  Thanks and many blessings!
Feel free to take a look at her website yourself, here is the cached main site and the mantids page that listed the update information.

Thank you Cosbyart. Thats sad she has mostly given up. Maybe she will focus on her lizards instead.

I wish Carey good luck with whatever she does.

Indeed I was saddened to see it myself as I was hoping to place another order with her and was how I stumbled across it to begin with.

Yes, I wish her the best and hope she meets/exceeds her new goals. :)
