Another African species, but from the Western side of the continent. These guys max out around 10 or so inches in length. While they look like the more common AGB at first glance, they have a cool 2-tone look. Half of each segment is covered in fine texture that make the black color matt. The adults have very bulky bodies and smallish heads. I have 10 immatures that are about 5+ inches long. They should be adults in another 2 years.

I love them! I have 4 or 5 and they are interesting to watch. Ive caught them mating, especially after I put fresh live moss in thier tank. Who knew moss was sexy?

Last week one of my big ones wanted to come out so I picked it up and he enjoyed alittle one on one time with me.

They love Bug Burger and make it dissapear in a day or two after I put some in with them. They also like roach foods.
