Mated......now what?

Both my chinese Matis have mated, I'm assuming successfully. I've watched them both times. But it's been about two weeks and they still haven't laid any egg cases?

How long does it usually take for them to start laying eggs after mating?

Hopefully I'm not doing anything wrong.

One of my Chinese laid her ooth within three days, my other one its been four days and nothing yet

Give her options to lay. Feed her then dont feed her for a few days. I hear they can be tricky to get to lay

Most mantids will lay more than 3 ooths

They can lay several. When they lay an ooth cannot be determined exactly.
