First meal as L7 sub-adult. I guess Megas go to L8.

I've gotta say, I love these guys a lot more now that they are sub-adult. You can really see the colors and their carapace has a sheen that looks a lot like milky plastic. Very cool mantid. I wish I could breed them, but no females to be found. And the females get HUGE!

Dude are the males tiny? I thought adult females got to 12 inches? lol somebody lied to me!!!!

Sub-adult L7 males are between 2.5"-3". The females are much bigger.

That I don't know. There is a longer mantis but I don't know what it is or if it's been cultured.

I only know of 1 female in the states and owner isn't giving her up. Hopefully he gets his pair to breed and we'll get an oportunity to buy.
