These guys are so cool. This one is a bit lighter than the others since the last molt. They seem to be furrier than other mantids. Wonder what that does for them?

My thinking is perhaps these hairs aid in picking up morning humidity/dew that would form water droplets that they could consume for hydration before the "heat of the desert day comes out to play".
