Hey Guys,
Everyone has heard of the Monarch Butterfly right? Perhaps, the Monarch Butterfly is the most recognizable out their. But what most people dont know is that the Monarch Butterfly is one of the most endangered butterfly species out their and has been near extinction. The population of Monarch butterflies has dropped 30% at their recorded breeding grounds.
Monarch Butterflies feed on Milkweed. Which is a nuisance to gardeners because it pops up everywhere.
Milkweed
My Dad and I started a little foundation called Milkweed for Monarchs a while back and we have raised awareness of the Monarch population in our town. Almost everyone in La Canada has Milkweed and some even have a full garden bed of it! This is one of the most sad pictures I have ever seen...This is a Milkweed seedling that has recently sprouted, Monarch Butterflies, desperate to lay eggs have come to this baby milkweed and covered it with eggs. This plant probably isnt even 2 weeks old

Heres what I am doing: To help save the Monarch Butterfly, I will send Milkweed seeds or Milkweed seedlings to you at no cost to you, as long as your promise to care for it properly and keep it alive. Please PM me here if you would like free Milkweed seeds or seedlings. I will also send a complete care sheet for Milkweed, as well as, a rearing guide for Monarch larvae. If you would like to donate to the Milkweed for Monarch foundation that would be amazing.

For more information or if you have any questions please PM me
Thank you,
Alex
