My subadult male spiny just molted to adult. I have another adult male as well. I compared the two and the male that was adult before (from Yen) is about a half inch longer than the male I raised from L3 to adult who just molted (also from Yen). Is it normal to have such a large size difference in males, or is my male a dwarf? Pics to come...

@MantisGirl13 do you think he could had skipped a molt? I just read someones Spiny took forever to molt and appear to have skipped a molt to an adult male which turn out to be smaller than her other male.

No, I don't think so. I got him and his sisters at the same time and they matured at the same time. It's possible, I guess, but I don't think he slipped a molt.

From what I’ve read all species have a decent rage of ‘normal’ sizes similar to humans some are just bigger than others. I’m personally curious to know how if canabilism (by the mother of course) is a variable in this as well.

Well, I'll breed him as soon as he is mature enough, and I'm interested to know how it goes and if his offspring have the same problem.
