I bought a Mio ooth from Ian less than a week ago and it hatched on saturday

I've counted 117 nymphs but there is probs more, is this a good hatch as i was expecting 60-70

Soz, i am rubbish with pics + i can only use camara on my phone

Btw, it has now got more sticks in it for the nymphs to hang from :D

Can anyone tell me the latin name for these mios, it comes from Gambia and i really need to know the latin name :? :)

A m8 of mine sent me some flys as i wasnt prepared for it hatching but the are off of a compost heap so they are gut loaded but they are the same length as the nymphs, so i havnt seen any flys getting eaten

But i'm sure they will when they get hungry enough :D

I think that the nymphs are not hungry just after hatching, it takes some time before that.
