i need some help my miomantis sp. ooth just hatched last night and did not exp. them to be so small. what do you feed them? i have FF's but they are way to big for them.

ff's should work but if not can you get some aphid's

rose bushs are often infested with them(aphids)

I've had nymphs eat things almost as big as themself's,can't hurt to try.

If you can't find anything wild, then I would try the mels and see if those are small enough for them. Good luck man

I wouldn't feed your mantids anything from a milkweed plant.

milkweed sap is very sticky -- that's its defense against crawling insects!

It's also poisonous to many creatures and tastes bad too. So probably not good for mantids.
