Bummed me out, but I couldn't save this one....so I took pictures of it! Terrible, I know. It was an L2 molt, so this one had a short life.

They usually are pretty trouble free. Mist twice a day.

Ok. I've been misting them once a day, and everyone else molted just fine. I only had the one with problems and by the time I found him his legs had already deformed and he couldn't do much. I couldn't get his claws out when I tried to without squishing him because they're so little!

I notice mismolts in this species too, more water u say Rick, ok, gonna get the hose...
I honestly have few issues housing them in 32 oz cups with paper towel on the bottom. They're from FL so hot and humid is what they like. Also, and this may have been a factor, they don't grip smooth surfaces well. I always put in some rough sticks for them. I also glue some fiberglass screen to the lids of the cups.

I noticed about 50% die off of these too, but I figured it was just related to the age of the female and old eggs. I had 18 that were molting to L2 out of about 25 or 30 that hatched, then I had the one mimolt and I accidentally drowned one in a small puddle  and then one cup of them had 3 or 4 just die for no reason right after their L2 molt. Strangely enough, it's the one cup that I have substrate in and not paper towels. I do keep little rough sticks in there and they don't seem to have a problem with the cloth lids just yet, but they are about big enough that I'll switch them to screen lids anyhow.
