Yes, the skin they are shedding probably would not break off while you are holding the skin of the leg gently while she molts.

Using tape to stick to hang stickinsect while molting and could work with a mantis, too.

Wow thats great and I saw my grasshopper molt to adult and only two arm were holding and guess old skin are tough and ahe lost her leg to but other then that she perfect I have bad luck on last molt
