In my experience, I've come to find the Hierduela Multispina and Phyllocrania paradoxa to be pretty intelligent, compared to species like Tenodera Sinensis and Creobroter Pictipennis. For starters, my late Multispina seemed to recognize me and acknowledge me whenever I walked in the room. It seems to be the case for the Ghost Mantis as well. I haven't had the creo or ghost for that long though, so I'll hold off judgement on the creo until he or she gets a little older. Personally though, I think the multispina and ghost are among the most intelligent of insects period. What OTHER type of bug actually turns the head to look at you and trys to get attention by clawing at you? What do you guys think, what are the smartest and dumbest species?
