My Babies Grew up so Fast

Little over two months ago I had a couple hundred tiny nymphs, its crazy how quickly the time went! I had my first girl molt to adult today and I am ecstatic!

One of her wings did not unfurl correctly but she's still gorgeous!

Beautiful mantis.That has to be so satisfying! I only have one mantis, and she still has a ways to go before she's an adult. She's an L5 giant dead leaf mantis. I hope to see her mature into adulthood!

Great feeling of relief when you get the first one to adult. Or the last of the batch is adult finally.

So true. With the untimely death of my first mantis last summer it is a super relief to have actually achieved adulthood with the first and a sizable horde on the verge! There might have been minor excited squealing
