I recently purchased 10 ghost from the wonderful patty. With a couple hick ups (weather/usps) they finally arrived! All the (still) alive beautiful and super fascinating! I can’t wait to watch them grow!

(You may hear more from me. I think my coworkers think I’m a nut job and my family is tired of me talking about them ;)  )

My spouse is actually insanely supportive with all my craziness and nerdiness. Thank god i work with clients all day I can tell them all about those creatures

Mine was too. Shed come home, get a mantis out, snap some photos. Post on social media. She make videos of a mantis dancing to Bruno Mars vids etc.

But somewhere along the line, keeping a few species turned into maintaining breeding groups. Now, she's the master of the eyelash flutter. 🤣

My hubby don't like my mantids really much, but he let me keep them, because he can see how much I enjoying them.

Enjoy your ghosts. I hope one of them will turn green.

Thank you I hope too I read different things like the color of the environment and humidity and temperature may effect it it’s hard in Colorado to keep the humidity high when 10% is considered humid :)

My hungry little baby I think it’s time for bigger food they eat several after each other

@Bea, i dissect feeders and offer little chunks on the end of a toothpick. When they gey a taste of the juices, they take it straight away.

Mealworm, waxworm, dubia guts, etc.

Awesome thank you. My friend was watching them and throw some house flies in (I gave her one of my mantids and her caught one that flew into her proximity)
