My first Pet! Need help about specie

Is it wild? If so, from where? All I can tell you now is that he'll eat crickets and other large insects. If it has wings, than it is fully grown.

Its wild, from Brazil, exactly from Minas Gerais.

Its has wings, its flying right now.

Is it possible to take a better photo? At first glance that mantis seemed to be dead or dying because of it's bent position towards the floor! It looks similar to the european mantis but the only thing i can see is its thorax and wings. The head and legs are all blurry.

Yes, it is very hard to tell from the photos. I guess just recreate its natural environment in Brazil. Mist the enclosure with water on occasion, and feed it bugs...

that is brunneria species. i have never seen pics of males. looks more like a thesprotia species to me.

Apparently there is a brunneria species in Brazil called Brunneria brasiliensis. I also found another pic

I think the size of the wings is very different between males and females maybe.

nope it is an adult female. some species dont even have wings
