My Ghost mantids! Shot with my cellphone so quality isn't the best, but still nice imo.

I love the green ones too! But black also has its charms and thank you! If you wanna build something similar, just go into a forest and take a big bag with you. Start collecting different mosses and branches and experiment!

What did you use for soil? And how often do you mist/water?

I used a mixture of tropical terrain and bark pieces. But I forgot to add a drain layer which would be better since the soil is often a bit wet. I mist usually once to twice a day to keep my mosses moist. It's more than they advise, but it just a little spraying, I don't do any big mistings where everything is super wet.

My dream would be to design natural terrariums as an actual job, don't know if it is possible, but with so much people nowadays having terrariums it is a possibility. Still learning a lot, I mean I'm content over what I already make, but still there's room for sooo much improvement.

Thanks for the info

Yeah that would seem like a fun job... there are plenty of people that do that stuff for a living I'm sure.

The most common place I see this as a job is zoos and nature museums as an enclosure/habitat specialists. But there are also companies around where I live that create water habitats, so it's a job that's possible!
