My 'male' ghost mantis

Possible you're not counting the segments correctly. The other cues on ghosts are reliable.

at the top of the abdomen are the segments alot smaller? maybe i just can't see them.. they're only 3cm

well yeah, I have orchids now, and I notice the extra two segments on males when their abdomens are full.
