The same mantis from my previous post (now named autumn) is now acting weird. She still seems pregnant but she already laid 2 eggs. The eggs dont seem to hatch. The main problem is that she seems to push away the food i gave her. She also seems to not move as much as before. I think this is because of stress but please let me know. This is a problem because i will be going on a trip tomorrow and im afraid she will stave or die.
My mantis is acting stange, help me!

It sounds like she’s definitely a senior citizen! As a mantis nears the end of their life, you’ll notice they’ll slow down, won’t be as active, and may act a bit “grumpy”. What are you currently feeding her? Will she drink water still? It could be stress, but it really just sounds like old age.
