Welcome. Your mantis is an adult so it is much older than a third instar.

To find out the gender, you have to look at the abdomen. Females will have 6 segments, and males will have 7 or 8.

I've never kept this species, so I'm not sure if there are any more differences between genders. But for a lot of species, males have larger antennae as well.
