My D diadema group is now at about 5th instar so I figured its time to move them up to something a little bigger than what they were in.  Its a 64 QT Homz tub with latching lid.  I like that even if you forget to latch it the lid does snap in place so it is somewhat secure.  Second pic is another shot of the lid.  4 4 inch deli cups cut so they extend about an inch into the lid.  I have the vented FF lids on there now but I can replace them with solid lids if I want to decrease ventilation.  3rd pic is the inside.  About 2 inches of coco fiber with 12x12 cork tiles propped up at roughly 75-80 degree angles on 4 sides.  The two pieces of cork inside were just put in to facilitate moving but I ma leave them in there but it does give the crickets a place to hide so i may remove them.  I have dwarf white isopods on the substrate as well and they do a pretty good job of keeping it clean.  I may add a couple of more tiles.  I thought about laying 1 flat across the center to give a horizontal surface but they do sag some and I'm afraid it might fall.

One small problem though.  When I counted last week there were all 12 still there but I only counted 10 today when I moved them and one was really really fat.  Fat like getting ready to molt fat but also could be fat like he ate one of his room mates fat.  I read that at this stage they can be tricky.  I'll keep a close watch for the next few days and if I lose any more I'll separate them and have a nice setup for the giant African Millipedes I'm getting tomorrow.

I like the clean looking ventilation with the cup lids. I didn't notice your pets where in the last photo until I looked closer. :)

If you are worried about the tiles sagging and falling, you could just add a dollop of hot glue to a corner or two. That way you could still move the tiles without much, if any damage, too. Then you would just need to heat the glue dollop up again to re-secure the tile. Depending on how well the glue attaches it may be easier to simply peel it off then reheating it.

Very cool setup and whip spiders! I plan on getting some of these guys someday, I really love their crab-like pedipalps, and the large size they attain :)

The cork tiles also look very nice and gives it a nice cave-like theme, hope you're pets continue to do well for you!
