This is my new Mini-fridge for my native species oothecas such as my chinese, american stick and carolina ootheca as well as for keeping my BB flies and super worms in a dormant state. Lmk what you think :)

That's some dedication, looks good. If you are storing ooths in there for diapause, then there is no need for such large containers. Small 2 or 3 oz are large enough for diapause.

Thanks, and I will definitely take that advice about the size of my containers into account :)

LOL….LOL….LOL…. It will be about 7 more years till I will be stocking that fridge with beer LOL
No need to worry about wasting space then, use it all for mantis goodies ;)

You may end up like me on the subject anyway, since I became of legal age to drink, it will sit in the fridge until it expires and I have to throw it away. :D The thrill of it all quickly vanishes after you become 21.

I think it looks like a mini-fridge.
A little dry humor there Rick?.. good observation... now I see how you have been in this hobby this long...

I think he was asking if we thought it would work?? And me with my big mouth is supporting the delinquency of minors!

Well you need space for the beer!
It would be the perfect fridge to keep beverages in for when guests are over. Just imagine their looks of joy when you point them toward it and they open it up to find their sodas nestled cozily between maggot pupae and mealworms. You can even glue old ootheca onto the little paper drink umbrellas for extra flair.

Now I really want a mini fridge. :clown:

LOL that would be quite funny. I think ill try it! :)

I love my mini fridge. It makes it so easy to feed the mantids. Plus I don't have anyone complaining about the bob's in the fridge anymore :) . I know you will love it.

Yep. Been using a dedicated fridge for this hobby for years.

So true thats the exact reason why I got it cause my parents were a bit creeped out by the fact that I kept worms and maggots in the fridge next to all the food. Now i have this new mini fridge all to my self and my mantids :)

Man I just turned the big five oh and got about 6 cases of beer as gifts from my friends. At the rate I drink now I won't need to buy beer until I turn 60. I love the stuff I just don't drink much anymore.

My fridge has more food in it for roaches (fruits and veggies) than it does for me though I guess there is nothing stopping me from eating it other than I would rather eat a burger or pizza.
