Nice.Is that your first tarantula?
I had a thousand once, which probably sounds like a lot, but they were mostly from a large order I imported for resale. 100 of them were Theraphosa blondi (Goliath Birdeaters...largest tarantula spider in the world). They were so nice to keep because the spiderlings were communal, even though they were larger than adults of household spider species!

Nice spider Peter!

Theraphosa grow faster than you think! She can reach 9" in two years if fed well.

In my opinion no other T can compare to the Theraphosas, they are just the best Ts!
