i have read conflicting reports of diamorphism.

I dont see a "hook"as described on one. any thoughts. it is late so I will try to get better pics. my photos are crude compared to some of you guys so I am sorry

 
How old is it? Once it gets old enough you will be able to distinguish the sex by there antennae, the girls will have a shorter thin antenna, and males will have long thick antennae.

 
I have a hard time sexing these.

Need lots of strong light and magnification.

Then, I'm still not 100% positive.

Some are easier then others.

I only have 3 L5 and L6 (I think) and have not sexed them yet.

However, they do better in my collection then I thought.

I am not providing any special care and they are eating and shedding normal.

I was affraid to buy them for fear they would be hard to keep and die on me!!

 
Is this kind harder to sex than mantids like Blue Flash? That mantis looks like a female because the last segment looks big. I cannot see any see any little segments on the end of the abdomen.

yeah, just as cool as a ghost but different (and a bit more work) got a line on a huge reptile enclosure...8ft long 2 ft wide and 2 ft deep....hee hee
