"A STORY OF A PET"
a pet named, Monkey
My girlfriend was taking out the trash, in a cold, dark, and some what windy night. i was at my computer
playing games and listening to music... when i hear a scream! I run to see whats happened and standing
tall and proud and very cutely small bug is on the trash can, well no surprise she was scared it was hitching
a ride from the front of the house to the back. i get a cup and lid and try to get the 1/2 inch mantis into it
but it seems to just want to strike and kill the lid. when he finally realizes his fate he runs in... the next
night i buy crickets and put them all in at the same time. He freaks out and swats 3, while standing on
a thick stick i put in there for him, then when he fills the coast is clear he reaches for another part of the
stick thats closer to the wall, he miss calculates and in stead of falling he grabs the branch with one hand
and swings around it about 180 degrees. lets go and hurtles to another higher branch, which he also swings
on just high enough so he can land on it... i witnessed the whole thing, right then i yelled for my girlfriend
and explained what happened and said "holy frick on a stick... he just jumped from one stick to another
like a............................................................monkey. The name stuck till he died. one of the most
entertaining pets ive ever owned, and quit frankly one of the cheapest to raise.
The first one is always special... ^_^
