I caught my first praying mantis last year. She lived pretty long time (until 20-25 December). She laid 5 ootheca. I will hatch them soon.
My favorite bugs are mantis, scorpions and tarantulas. I live in Canada and the sad thing is that we can't keep exotic mantises.

Isn't Litaneutria minor a native species in Canada? It's a lovely species.

I did some reading about it. Yes it can be found in Canada but only in British-Colombia. I didn't know.
