Could anybody explain why this is. She has been eating crickets every few days, misted every few days and is kept at room temperature.

thanks, Vince

Hi Vince,

sorry I've been meaning to reply to this for a while !

It occsionally happens that any species will suddenly stop eating and do nothing for weeks. There is no need to worry too much so long as it is not thin.

P. pinnapavonis is a species that I breed, and to be honest I've not really noticed them taking an abnormal amount of time to mature from subadult, though there are always exceptions.

One thing I would advice though, is to give it plenty of space to moult - this is a large species with long legs.

Rob.

cheerz guys, it still eats and is nice and fat, just sill hasn't shed... :?

It has indeed got a large enclosure, one of those pop up tents, so plenty of room to shed if it ever does :p

thanks again, Vince
