Thanks! :) E.javanica is a great species, so is T.olegrandjeani, though they are a bit specific when it comes to moisture requirements.

Any tips for a newbie who might be interested in getting a few T. olegrandjeani? Also, what other species would your recommend for someone who is pretty new to roaches? So far I've only kept B. dubia, madagascar hissers, and the E. javanica. Sorry for all the questions, you just seem to know your stuff! :)

Therea olegrandjeani are relatively easy to keep, just be sure to give them a deep substrate with a moisture gradient, make the lower half of the substrate moist, and keep the top layer dry. Also make sure they have a layer of dead leaves on top of the substrate, as that is their main food source. They will eat other foods such as dog food, fruits and veggies on occasion, but mainly eat the dead leaves.

There are lots of good beginner options, as roaches are so easy to care for. I would suggest something in Blaberus, (besides B.giganteus), most of them are pretty hardy and easy to care for, and some species are really stunning looking, like B.craniifer! :D Hemiblabera tenebricosa is also another great pet roach.

And it's no problem, I love helping people out with roaches and spreading knowledge around, if you have anymore questions, let me know. :)

Thank you so much! The B. craniifer have caught my eye before, so they may be the next species I look into, as well as the T. olegrandjeani. I can see this becoming an addiction very quickly.

No problem, hope you are able to find both of those species! Yes, make no mistake, Blatticulture is known to be a very addicting hobby! :D
