I've found lots of inspiration from this dude and I wanted to share it with you guys. John Muir Laws is an illustrator with wonderfully descriptive videos in regards to drawing not only insects but birds, plants, fungi, etc. I'm currently working on his "Homework" assignment in which you draw at least 7 insects. I've taken this as a chance to also learn more about the common insect orders. I've decided to draw an insect from: Blattodea, Coleoptera, Hemiptera, Hymenoptera, Diptera, Lepidotera and Homoptera. If there are any other artists out there I'd challenge you to participate in this assignment in whatever way you can.
