hello i am new and was lookinh in to getting some mantids, but i do not know what some good speices would be for beginers. i like gongylus gongylodes and derorplatys lobata. if any one as any care sheets on these let me know.

Welcome! An easy mantis to obtain is the Chinese mantis. You can buy the ootheca (egg case) at pretty much any major hardware store at the gardening section, like OSH or Ace.
