This ooth was sold to me as a Deroplatys Lobata ootheca. It came straight from Malaysia and the person selling it to me hasn't really lied to me before. This was not theirs and they said the the person they got it from said that it was from a Lobata. I'm guessing that they may have been mistaken and I'm actually hoping that this may be some other species of Deroplatys. It looks really yellow. Any help would be great. Thanks!





 
Here's a picture of 4 ooths from 2 D. lobata females. Quite varied. Yours doesn't look similar but I wouldn't be confident saying it is not one.

One pair was fertile not sure which now.

 
does not look like those ooths by the shape and color and you may of been ripped off on the species of interest or something but hatching it will tell something of the species if its even fertile!
