just seen a new behavior in a creobroter gemmatus nymph just now as my finger was near it to try to get it away from another nymph to avoid any confrontation the nymph jumped onto the ground and played dead and was not aware this species could play dead!

I love when mantids play dead, they look dead but you know they're alive it's so funny:D

I've never heard of mantids playing dead! I'd love to see a video of that if anyone has one posted somewhere.

I've only kept Chinese, but they never do that. The only bugs who play dead in my house are the ones about to be eaten by mantids.

My Ghost scared me first time she did that!
