currently have canon EOS rebel T3, these shots are with my EFS 55-250mm telescope lens

ideally id like to get into true macro just kinda stifled on what to get and how to execute

these are the best close ups ive done with my current set up

Cool mantis! I know its not the reply you are looking for, but what is it? I would like camera info too. My camera does not take really good closeups. I have a strange male ghost, no creast! And cant get a good closeup of him.

oh yay the orthodera r adult

heres some advice

spell advice right :p lol

the pics r good but just use manual exposure mode so u dont get as clear of a background in the shot
Spelling was never my thing haYes i think the back ground was to close

Maybe a stupid question but are these good for out door macro or mostly indoor?
Extension tube allows you get closer focus but it will also reduce the light comes in so most time you need external flash light. you can do this outdoor but most people start with indoor practice, like me :) just try to get clear background and try to shoot them clear first
