So I made the difficult decision to get another mantis, thereby doubling my current collection! :D My justification for this new addition was that I had to order food for adult Siri anyway, so why not add a sibling for the same shipping? I picked my ghost up from the post office Friday, and I can't remember if Siri was ever this small, but I've been afraid to hold her! She molted last night or this morning to L3, and I finally found some time to upload my pictures. This is Lenie, named by my sister after a book character:

The above is at L2, shortly out of her package.

This is her today, at L3. Better pictures should be forthcoming; she's incredibly delicate looking with all her flanges, but I'm surprised at the size of prey she can take down. Her antenna are ALWAYS moving, shaking so fast that I can barely see them!

I caught Siri watching her intently through his new terrarium shortly after I got her... <_< (That was when I realized she was smaller than his flies!) Here's a few pictures of Siri, some of him in his new Kritter Keeper, which I splurged a bit to decorate with Mopani driftwood. And I'm finally starting to get the hang of taking some face shots with my camera...

My little monsters...

I love Patellifera! I have a female and she is a great pet. She gives nibbley kisses and will sit with me for hours. Your ghost is wonderful too. I love the fast moving antenae.

Very nice! Enjoy that new ghostie :)
Thanks, I certainly will! She's a pistol, haha... :)

Siri is also a nibbler, and he's sooo calm. (Wonder if it's a breed/species thing?) He's spoiled me, because he's really easy to take out and have around, so I'd forgotten what it was like to have a flighty nymph until Lenie came along!
