Is this a code red? I feel like if they sit in a parcel locker for longer than a few hours it'd be game over.. anyone have any advice? I live in an area that gets really hot, too. I could maybe have someone get the package for me?

Do you know if the dealer included cold packs with the mantid? Is the parcel locker indoors or outdoors? If the locker is inside you probably have nothing to worry about. If the locker is outside and exposed to the heat, I'd see if you can get someone to pick it up. I live in hot hot Florida and all of my mantids are shipped from Virginia (approx 800 miles away) and I've never had a problem. If you purchased from a good dealer, there will be a cold pack in the box. ☺️

Hope this helps. Good luck and keep us posted!

Yeh, from Patty. I think I'll get someone to pick up the package for me and place it in my room anyway - would you be worried about the package sitting in my room unopened? They can still breathe in there, right?

You should be fine. I've heard many great things about Patty in the Breeder Feedback area. I'd ask your friend/family to open the flaps if the box feels warm or if it will make you worry less. I'm sure the cup has ventilation, so the little thing should have no problem breathing.

I'll bet you'll be anxious to get home! ?
