     Hey guys!

I'm a new member here and I'm raising two Carolina Mantis, (Both look very much like males,) and I stopped counting a while ago but I believe they are L5 and L6.

I originally kept 10 mantis from the 50+ hatched, but many turned up dead the next morning. I'm down to the two males and they're very happy feasting on small mealworms and pinhead crickets.

Since they are both males I'd be very interested to buy a female Carolina online, but I can't find any sellers.

Welcome.

Depending on where you live you may have S. carolina in the wild.

@Rick They do, I got their mother in Texas nearly dead on the sidewalk (it was extremely hot) and rushed her home. Never before had I seen a mantis in the wild, and surely finding another, let alone a female of a similar age, would be near impossible in the wild.

Hello and welcome to the forum

The Carolina mantids (Stagmomantis carolina) aren't a common seller as most keepers can find all they want in their area and aren't a large species in length, so they are hard to buy online. I know though Peter at BugsInCyberspace will have some in a few months, but is of little help now. The mantids in my area are still nymphs too so I can't help you there either. Your best chance is to make a post in the classifieds to see if anyone has any, but judging by the nymph in the photo it is a L4 at most so hopefully the timing will work out for you.
