New problem! Help!

Hi guys, so today I’ve encountered an issue I haven’t experienced with my other mantids in the past and looking for a bit of advice if possible.

Noted today after my girl pooped that she seems to have this barely visible ‘string’ protruding from her abdomen.

Can anyone tell me what this is and how to go about dealing with it if I need to?

Small update: she managed to flick whatever is was off independently, but I’m still somewhat baffled
